Founded in 2015 by internationally acclaimed tabla artist and educator Anirban Roy Chowdhury, Rhythm Eternal was established with a vision to provide authentic, disciplined, and inspiring tabla education while carrying forward the timeless traditions of the great masters of Indian classical music.

At Rhythm Eternal, we believe that learning tabla is much more than learning an instrument. It is a journey that develops discipline, concentration, creativity, confidence, patience, listening skills, and a deeper understanding of Indian classical music and culture.

Our teaching philosophy is rooted in the traditional Guru–Shishya Parampara, while incorporating a structured and personalized approach for today’s students. Every student is guided according to their age, experience, learning pace, musical background, and individual goals.

From complete beginners taking their first steps in tabla to intermediate and advanced students developing deeper knowledge of technique, taal, compositions, improvisation, accompaniment, and performance, Rhythm Eternal provides a strong foundation for lifelong musical growth.

Students are encouraged not only to develop technical excellence, but also to understand the language, aesthetics, discipline, and musical values of tabla. Special attention is given to correct hand technique, sound production, rhythmic clarity, recitation, repertoire, accompaniment, improvisation, and stage confidence.

Beyond regular lessons, Rhythm Eternal creates opportunities for students to participate in workshops, masterclasses, student recitals, ensemble performances, collaborative projects, and interactions with distinguished musicians and maestros.

Our goal is not simply to create skilled tabla players. We strive to nurture knowledgeable, confident, respectful, and passionate musicians who understand the tradition they represent and are inspired to carry it forward.
